Landon turned 8 months old today...I can hardly believe how much he has grown. He's outgrown most of his 9 month clothing and is wearing a 12 month size. Two of his lower teeth have come in, and continues to drool and drool and drool. He loves to talk, although sometimes it is a bit of a scream. We love it when he tries to imitate our sounds...it's wonderful. He hasn't mastered crawling but he can spin himself around on his belly by using his hands. We also said goodbye to his pacifier earlier this month...that was a tough week. But it's all good now. Landon has gotten to be a much better eater...he loves his rice and chicken porridge with peas and carrots. He also enjoys spinach, butternut squash, apples and bananas. Landon loves to explore and is curious about everything...he travels in his walker and has mastered getting around. Think it's time to childproof. Yikes. 3/19/2010

Celebrate You

I was highly inspired by Tracey Nelson's card from Demonstrator Hostess Club last month. =) Instead of using pages out of an old book, I wanted to create scallop flowers using Stampin' Up!'s A to Z stamp. This way, I also got to use a coordinating ink color to match. This project was a make & take for last nights Hostess Club in Monterey Park.

The texture on the background was created by using SU!'s Textured Impressions Folder - Perfect Polka Dots. Super easy to use, great price. $7.95

Welcome Neighbor Scrapbook Pages

I created these scrapbook pages for a workshop several weeks ago. My cousin Janice hosted a workshop for me....thank you cousin. I had not done a workshop out of my home in ages and it was refreshing and lots of fun.

I used the Designer Series Paper Pad Welcome Neighbor, Stampin' Up!'s Fox and Friends and a few other SU! accessories. I plan to make more to create a little collection.

Landon's second tooth is coming! He's slowly mastering the walker...going forwards, backwards and an occasional u-turn. He loves being in the walker because it allows him to discover all the different textures in his surroundings. The plants, the window coverings, door handles, magnets, and more. He can sit up for an extended period of time...he often lounges forward but hasn't found the motivation to crawl on his belly. Landon continues to put everything in his mouth...even round objects. His giggles are the cutest...he laughs and loves to talk.

Can hardly believe that the little guy is already 7 months old. He's sitting up on his own, although he prefers to be laying down and kicking it if he doesn't have someone or something to lean up against. Landon has finally mastered rolling from his belly to his back and vice versa. His first tooth is visible and is just so cute! He continues to scoot on his back and puts everything in his mouth.

Landon loves to work his frozen bagel. He's not really getting any of it and it helps his sore gums.

He loves it when we read to him...The Hungry Caterpillar is one of his favorites books. Yesterday, he was reading on his own...so, cute!
