L & O update - March 2012

 Landon likes to feed the ducks at the park. Love his laugh.

Olivia sits in the red car as Landon feeds the ducks.

 They cruise at the park.

 We're taking steps...Olivia and Yeh-Yeh.

 We go for walks around the block in the morning.

 Landon loves to hide in boxes. He thinks its fun and funny.

 Red solo cup...I drink you up. She's standing all on her own.

 She's standing steady....love those bubbles.

I was inspired by Patty Bennett's card when I recreated this one. It was a nice change of pace from hearts and flowers ( I love them, don't get me wrong). Looking forward to sharing this project in my upcoming workshops as well.

I used the SU! Color Coach for a little help on the color combination. It is a wonderful tool to have handy. Love it!

ABC

Landon really loves his ABCs. He loves the letters and practices sounds all the time. He can almost say "X" correctly.  It has been so much fun to see him not only learn his letters but recognize them, the sounds it makes and hear him recite words that are associated with each letter of the alphabet. Way to go Landon!

Olivia @ 16 months

Olivia can scoot around super fast but she is finding the confidence to take steps. She has finally taken a few on her very own. Yeah baby girl! Mommy bought you four pairs of shoes...wearing size 5. Wow!

Hello sweetie pie. She's letting me put bows in her hair. Yes, finally. Time for me to make more.

My happy baby! Look at that smile. Olivia loves to eat when her gums aren't bothering her. Her teeth including molars are coming in bunches. She's eating chicken, fish, pork, bread, berries, apples, bananas, rice, pasta, tofu, yogurt, cheese and lots more...even turkey leg meat at Disneyland. Whoo Hoo!

Happy 16 months Olivia. I love you my hunny bunny!

Stampin' Up! Elementary Elegance

This idea comes from Tracey Nelson. She had embossed the design in white onto Baja Breeze cardstock which made for a beautiful look as well. These cards fit nicely into the Fancy Favor Box. Makes for a great presentation as a gift.

Stampin' Up! Triple Treat Flower

 

I was inspired to recreate SU!'s Triple Treat Flower sample from the current Sale-A-Bration catalog. Instead of placing the flower on a box, I decided to use the Petite Pocket die. Simply elegant and sweet. Looking forward to sharing this project in my upcoming workshops.

This is the backside of the Petite Pocket. I love the  little closure detail.

Olivia's First Year Photo Review

Starting with Olivia's first photo at Huntington Memorial on the top left....followed by her first month photo with one friend. In the following months, I added a friend each month to continue the story. I love you Olivia.

Olivia @ 15 months

                                           
Olivia turned 15 months on January 31st. Her personality shines through all moments of the day. She had a great check up with Dr. Stephanie. She weighs 24lbs 10oz, 32" tall and has a head circumference of 19". She tops the percentage charts, for sure. Olivia has taken a few steps...we're working on building her confidence on a daily basis. She may not be walking but she sure loves to climb. She's a great sleeper...takes one 2-3 hour nap during the day and sleeps through the night. O is beginning to eat table food. This week she has taken a liking to rice and Grand Auntie Joyce's cooked squash/melon dish. She did the happy dance when I put it in her mouth. So cute. She's also eating bananas, rice macaroni, whole milk yogurt, string cheese, king hawaiian bread, cheerios, noodles, tofu and fish. She loves to go outside...especially for a ride around the block in the little red car. She continues to explore the house and try new things. She loves to sit and play tea, instruments and flip pages in books. She also loves to open the dresser drawer to pull out clothes...especially Landon's stuff. We've also found her playing in the bathroom...toilet. Aiya! O has also transitioned from the baby tub to the big tub. She loves it! Olivia is one happy baby and it's easy to keep her smiling and laughing. I love you baby girl.

December 2011 Scrapbook Spreads

I created 12x12 spreads using the scrap I had left over from my December Daily Book. One for Landon and one for Olivia. Now I just have to finish all the spreads from the day they were born til Dec 2011. That's gonna take awhile.
