Happy Mother's Day From Landon

Landon was so cute on Friday. He ran up to me with a big smile and said, "Happy Mother's Day!" and handed me a card and a present. I knew that he had been working on his fine motor skills by stringing beads but I had no clue it was for me. Naturally after handing me the card and present, he told that it was Landon's. It was his card and his present. Too funny.

Special Delivery

I'm always fascinated when the babies are having a good old time playing with a big cardboard box. They giggle and laugh as they climb in and out...simply playing.

My friend Regina from Seattle was down in LA a couple of months ago when I told her I was going to make this butterflies mobile. I'm happy that I did. I can't wait to surprise Olivia tomorrow when I hang it up in her room.

Sunday

Landon's last day of spring break. Today we chilled at home, got a haircut and went out for lunch at one of our favorite places...then spent the rest of the day hanging out around the house.

Been a great week with both Landon and Olivia at home but it's time for Landon boy to go learn something.

My First Ice Cream Cone

Every once in awhile Landon will get a treat for finishing his dinner. Landon had his first chocolate covered chocolate mini ice cream cone (from Trader Joes). He told me he likes chocolate ice cream and wanted more. They were mini but I said maybe tomorrow after he ate his dinner.

Landon's Red Barn Diorama

Landon's first take home project is to make a diorama of a red barn. It was a lot of fun to spend time with Landon to put this all together. It is so much fun to hear describe and tell you all about the red barn and the farm animals. He was adamant about making sure that the chickens had a nest of eggs. Too much fun.

Super Landon!

My strong Landon Boy! He wanted to glide again and again. His little arms has some super strength. Happy 32 months!

Olivia's morning...

I've had a busy morning. I woke up at 2am and 3am...got a diaper change and had a little bit of milk. I got to work out my lungs by crying and screaming. My daddy was really happy about that. I slept in til 10am. Mommy was really surprised and I woke up refreshed, singing and dancing. This morning...I've had milk, some cheerios, yogurt, and read books...love this Cars book because it comes with a tool. One more thing...I now know how to climb onto the dining room chairs. I think I scared my Mommy.

 I've also worked on my fine motor skills...this one is one of my favorites.

 I also like the stars one too because it chimes and plays music. So much fun!

 Then after working on my fine motor skills, I watched a little Super Why on TV. My gums are itchy...more teeth on the way.

Hi Mommy! Cheeese. Let me show you my tongue. Okay, I'm ready to go out and have lunch now. Let's go meet Daddy at U2 Cafe.

I had some noodles but the curry was too spicy for me. The duck was yummy. I also ran an errand with Mom but I was pooped. I need to get my beauty rest. I'm out. 2pm.

We went to the California Science Center after dim sum today. It was a beautiful day to be out. Landon absolutely loved exploring in the Science Center. His favorite had to be the big fish tank. I think he could have sat and watched the fish and sharks for a real long time. We'll be going back.
