Bella Rose

I find that pocket cards are a real quick to put together. It always looks fancy but effortless. Use this layout with any SU! Designer Series Paper and coordinate with their cardstock. Always makes a beautiful combination. This was my "demo it" card for my shoebox swap with my downline.

Make A Wish

I'm getting ready for my upcoming birthday card class and wanted to make something dimensional. This card was inspired by a swap I received at SU! Convention by Brenda Bundy(she used Big Bold Birthday and Itty Biity Backgrounds). I updated it by adding a second frame to draw the eye to the focal point and a sweet chocolate taffeta bow. SU! stamps used: Party Hearty, Happy Happy Birthday jumbo wheel and A little birthday cheer. Color combination: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa and Rose Red.

Flower Power

SU!'s Simply Sent Kits are awesome. They are quick, simple and easy to put together. I coordinated the cards with SU!'s Wow Flowers stamp set and everything else was included in the kit. Kit creates 9 cards (3 designs, 3 each).

Snow Swirled

I needed inspiration tonight and the best place to start sometimes is the SU! Idea Book and Catalog. I turned to page 32 of the IBC and there it was. This card is inspired by the 6x6 scrapbook page shown. Color combination: Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White.

This set is one of many sets that is currently 15% off until Sept 30.

Tart & Tangy

These Carousel Notes by Stampin' Up! are so sweet. I used the dotted lines wheel to give my card a ground, plus it's a great graphic element that keeps the look fresh.

Décor Elements - Season of Thanks

I was sooooo lucky to have win this prize at the Stampin' Up! Convention this year! I just had to make the exact sample I saw at convention. The pattern paper is SU!'s wrapping paper to create a seamless backdrop. I wanted to go with hues of red flowers for my shadow box (pieces from a garland and a hydrandrea stem).

Haunting

My hostess club wanted to revist the brayer and learn how to get a spectrum of colors. I had to figure out how to get my colors. I'm sure someone else had already thought of this...I used double stick tape to keep the Stampin' Spots together. This worked like magic. Stampin' Spot color combination: Ruby Red, More Mustard, Old Olive. Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Old Olive.
