Family Photo by Christina Wong

The first week of motherhood has been wonderful. I am completely overjoyed and could not be happier. Landon is doing very well. He eats well(taking 3oz every 3-4 hours), sleeps well and has a great digestive system(just like his daddy). We are going to be using a lot of diapers(16 per day). A lot!

We had our first doctors visit today with Dr. Stephanie Whang, Landon's pediatrician and my longtime childhood friend. It was also our first trip on the road since returning home from the hospital. Landon has gained 1/2 pound and we have gotten the okay to let him sleep up to 5 hours at night. Whooohooo! Can't complain because he has been sleeping fours at a time in the evenings. Overall, he is doing great!

Norman, Landon and I are very lucky...we have a great support system. My mom and sister have been around everyday to help out in a major way. My mom has been cooking for us and making sure I'm getting the nutrients I need to heal properly(lots of ginger and chicken). Aside from my mom and sister...the extended family has also been lending a helping hand. I've been getting the rest I need and have been very relaxed. More than I thought I'd be.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, the gifts(especially for all the diapers) and visits.

The photo was taken by a very sweet and thoughtful friend, Christina Wong. Thanks Christina.

For All You Do Accordian Purse

I finally got around making on of many samples from the Hawaii Incentive trip back in March. This accordian purse was a lot of fun to put together...albeit a little tricky but it was worth it.

39 Weeks 1 day

We had our appointment with the OB yesterday and everything is looking good. I'm 2cm. Looks like he'll be arriving pretty close to his due date.

Happy Birthday Norman....he didn't want to share his birthday with the little one. Completely understand.

Congratulations

We received this congrats card and giftbag(with baby goodies for the little one) from Yolanda Tamayo for Baby Boy Lau. I love the color combination and simplicity. I could make a ton of these in a flash. Thanks Yolie!

Kaliedoscope Fancy Favor Box

I received my order from the new SU! Idea Book and Catalog today! Whohooo! I just had to play and share a little something. Here I used the new SU! Designer Series Paper Kaliedoscope and the new SU! Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die. For the finishing touch, I added using the SU! Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die. So easy and simple to put together. Can't wait to share with my group this week. I'm loving it and hope you do too.

A little baby update:
We had our doctors appointment with the OB yesterday and there are no signs of the baby arriving any time soon. The doctor is expecting him pretty close to the due date. Guess this gives me a little more time to rest.
