39 weeks

39 weeks today...started feeling contractions yesterday. All day. I can't remember the last time where I did absolutely nothing but lay around without doing anything. Nothing, nada. It was weird, but much needed.  I didn't experience the contractions with Landon until I was induced...so, it makes it different this time around. The contractions have continued on and I'm guessing this will continue until the baby girl decides she ready.

My childhood friends took me out to tea today at the Tea Rose Garden in Old Pasadena. It was a beautiful afternoon of awesome conversation, yummy eats, cute baby girl apparel and wonderful news.

The countdown continues.

My Cover Page for Landon's Scrapbook

Feeling pretty good that I've made some progress on Landon's first year album. It's going to be awhile before I can even say that I'm done, enjoying each page or one spread at a time.

Class is in Session

Gung-Gung, Landon and Auntie are in class.
Looks like Landon is leading the way.

We had our check up to see how Baby Girl Lau was doing...I think she's pretty happy with where she's at. Looks like she won't be coming anytime soon. Heartbeat sounds good, she's dropped a little but that's it. Another visit to the doctors next Wednesday.

L's first trolley ride at the Americana
Enjoying his mini me cup of Jamba Juice
We spent a nice early evening at the Americana with our friends Ron, Tiffany and Branden. It was long overdue but we had time to hang out at the fountain, ride the trolley, enjoy eats at Granville and finished the evening at pinkberry and jamba juice...it was an evening of catching up.

One other note: Landon tried cheese pizza for the first time tonight.

38 Weeks

Counting down...14 days to go. Wow! I pretty sure I'm ready, we're ready. We just need to get a couple of more things...we're lucky to be borrowing a bassinet from our friend(just need to pick it up)...in the process of buying another car. Well, more than a car...a minivan. Yeah, a minivan. Not exactly an automobile I want but more in the realm....of needing one. To tow precious cargo. Other than that...I think we're ready.

The belly is still growing and is HUGE! Getting a good nights sleep is nearly impossible. My hubby has be great and allowing me to rest as much as possible. Thank you babe. I really appreciate it.

Project O

I was recently inspired by a project a new Stampin' Customerhad shared. It was a gift that she had received for her daughter and wanted to make them as gifts for Christmas. She was given this hair accessories holder using a lot of SU! product and found me on the SU! website looking for the Alphabet Dies. Needless to say, I had to make one too!

I was pretty happy to use what I had at home without having to order any more product or run to the local store to make this work for me. Thank you Misty for sharing this project with me. I was truly inspired and motivated to make one right away.

Enjoy!

Happy 15 months Landon!

Landon had his check-up with Dr Stephanie yesterday and did really well. Health is good...he grew another inch @ 32" and gained 1.5 lbs for a total of 23.5 lbs. He walks really well, explores every corner in the house, opens andcloses drawers and doors. He loves to climb and go down slides, the boy has no fear. His molars are coming in and continues to put anything he can into his mouth to help soothe himself. He loves to brush his teeth, comb his hair, drink water and feed himself bananas, crackers, bread, chicken, fish and grapes. It gets messy but it all makes it into his mouth. Most of it anyways. He loves to go outside and calls for the parrot from across the street. I also need to mention he loves going out...even if its for a car ride to the bank with po-po (grandma).

He continues to babble and has learned to call me mama. Yes! =) Along with his babbling, he drools like a leaking faucet and we're working on words like dada, baba (daddy in Cantonese), yes, jo-sun (good morning in Cantonese), mum-mum (food), nana (banana), please and thank you. He loves to sign for more (usually for more food), up, all done, waves hi and bye and blows kisses. His smiles and grins can bring you joy and get you to do just about anything he wants you too. So darn cute.

He usually takes two naps a day and goes to bed around 9pm and wakes up around 6:30-7am. I've been able to spend the last couple of weeks at home with Landon...time given to me due to being on maternity leave. I feel lucky to have been given this gift before the arrival of baby girl Lau...with just less than 3 weeks to go, I am going to enjoy all the time I have with Landon. This is with lots of help...my parents and sister come over everyday. So lucky to have them around.
