Unfinished-Year in Review-2007

I was cleaning out my 'stuff' and I found this spread that I had started at the end of 2007. Yes, I said it...2007. I will need to find the pictures to complete this spread. Hoping to finish before the year ends. Haha! We'll see.

Disneyland_August 28, 2010

We spent almost a full day at Disneyland yesterday with family. 8 Adults and 3 toddlers under the age of 2. Some may think we're nuts and we were. It was Evan and Keana's first time at Disneyland and Landon's 6th. Yes, I'm keeping track. I remember the days when it was all about how many rides we can get on before the park closes. Now, it's about eating schedules, nap-time and where we can find a cool place to sit and hang out. And really the biggest change is...one or two rides will do.

All in all it was a success and we had a good time. Considering that I am 30 weeks prego, I did all right by keeping up.

Weekend Project

I spent the weekend creating 12x12 scrapbook pages using Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kit..Love Birds. I'm planning ahead to have pages designed before Baby Girl Lau arrives in early November. This way I don't feel too far behind to have baby pictures dropped in when I have time to scrapbook. It will probably happen at one of our scrapping days with the cousins.

For those of you who know me...I generally design pages before pictures. I know its backwards, but it seems to work for me.

I created 7 spreads and 2 single pages for a total of 16 pages. It's a good start.

Landon @ 13 months

Happy 13 months Landon. Our happy boy!

This last week Landon has been standing on his very own. He's even take a couple of steps. It won't be long before he starts walking with confidence. He loves to crawl but loves it even more when he's walking around with the help of a walker or by anyone that is willing to hold his hands.

For the last four weeks, I've been trying all kinds of cups to wean him off of the bottle. Landon still gets a bottle in the morning and in the evening before bed. But during day he uses a cup with a straw. Transitioning hasn't been smooth sailing but he's starting to drink his organic whole milk and water from a toddler cup. Don't get me wrong...he'd rather take his milk from a bottle.

Landon loves to share, wave and say bye-bye, blow kisses, expresses himself vocally when he's not happy, gives a biggest grin when he is loving something...usually linked to table food. Landon has been introduced to oatmeal, fish, strawberries, bananas, watermelon, tofu, bread, cherrios and veggie snacks. He's our boy, he loves to eat.

He also has mastered going down stairs, getting off the couch and bed. I love to watch him get to the edge...survey the situation, watch him back up to turn around and to slide down legs first. So cool.

We're continuing to try to put shoes and socks on him...he absolutely rejects socks. He screams. I need to get him some ankle socks and see if that will work. Meanwhile, he goes out without shoes. He's gonna need to learn, no shoes...no going on the floor to walk. Oh boy. We'll need to work on this one.

He continues to explore the house and is curious about everything. He loves to climb, flip toys over, dance, sing and still loves to put everything in his mouth. Not everything, almost everything. Landon has 8 teeth and is drooling like mad...he must be teething again.

I love you Landon boy!

Love You Much

I'm slowly going through piles, bags and boxes of stuff and I came across these cards. Along with these cards were some extra materials to make multiples...I'm going to do my best to make these cards. Turning stuff to cards.

Engraved Greetings

Stampin' Up!'s new Engraved Greetings stamp set is awesome. I love the Simply Sent Elegant Engravings precut cards and envelopes. I was able to create these elegant cards in an instant! The design on the card itself is actually metallic-copper foil. So very cool. Take notice of the little jewels that I added onto the card...also a new product from SU!. Basic Rhinestones and Basic Pearls. Enjoy!

Dinner with Family

I had a wonderful weekend with family. I'm so glad that I decided to tow my camera with me everyone where I went. Here are a few more pictures from tonight.

We're sitting around til Landon wakes up from his nap before heading out to dinner. Yes, that's Carl with chili growing out of his ears.

The meal of noodles, steamed dumplings, green onion pancakes, stinky tofu. It was yum!

Landon's First Year

Can hardly believe that I purchased this frame well over a year ago. I made sure that I took pictures of Landon with his first teddy each month, just knowing I had to complete this picture. At last, the project is complete. How will I pull this off for Baby Lau #2?
