Olivia @ 8 months

Happy 8 months baby girl! You have grown so much just this month...you've hit many milestones. You learned to rollover, you can scoot from point a to point b, you love gadgets (esp. my iPhone), you can cruise around in the walker, you've found your voice, you've mastered rice cereal and love sweet potato. You drink about 6-7oz milk per feeding and love being sung to while eating. You actually prefer it. We're still waiting for your first tooth but we know it will be soon. Your hair has grown a lot as well as in height. You currently are wearing size 12 months in play wear, size 3 diaper but in sleepwear, size 12 months...is a tight fit.
Just this week you've fallen asleep while playing..the first time was at Bacali Cafe during
breakfast, the second time was in the high chair after eating and just a couple of days ago...
you fell asleep in the jumper.
We love your smile!
Landon loves his new friend...thank you Grand Uncle Ricky.

Hello Baby Girl

Landon's before and after...

It wasn't so easy this time...Landon had fallen asleep in the car just 45 minutes
before his appt. Although he woke up on his own...we would not sit in the chair.

Daddy had to carry him but also squat a little (like holding a long yoga pose) for the
stylist to cut his hair. Oh boy. Let's not forget the chocolate chip cookie he had too.

Charlotte and Olivia just sat in the chair watching Landon get his haircut.

Landon @ 23 months

L & O don't exactly interact but it is fun when they do.
O is scooting on her bottom around in circles and L is just all over the place.
Landon loves to be outside, especially hanging out on the lawn.
Daddy brings O outside in the exer-saucer.
L & I were only on the front lawn with O & Daddy before he wondered to the backyard.
There isn't much in the backyard but Landon had fun exploring. Watching him take steps on the different surfaces was interesting. He was careful and took caution before taking steps. it may be time we have a landscaper take a look at transforming the backyard to a place we can hangout and play.
Landon has always liked phones...he found a rattle that resembled just that.

Just one month shy from turning 2. Landon loves to play with cars, balls and all things that are gadgets. He loves balloons (from watching Disney/Pixar'sUp), he's wild about them. He loves his alphabet letters that are in the kitchen and his foam letters in the bath. He's always asking us "what's this?" but doesn't repeat what we say. He loves his books but isn't interested in us reading to him, he likes to point and ask "what's this?". He loves anything that has a wheel that he can spin, especially a steering wheel. He is like most...loves to watch TV. He's very much into Super Why, Handy Manny, Cars, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc and Up. He likes to self feed, drinks nothing but milk and water. He loves fruit, tofu, rice, string cheese, cheerios, rice noodles, oatmeal, and bread...not crazy about chicken or veggies, but I have my ways of getting it in.

His newest words are...I do, I all wet, I stuck, boo (balloon), show (he'll take our hand and walk us to the back to turn the tv on for him, dough (means go), and no, no, no.

Happy 23 months Landon boy! I love you.

Baby O - June 2011

Baby O loves to play with her pacifier...happy little one.
Olivia is deciding which one she's gonna put in her mouth next...blue or orange star?
 Duh Mom...the blue star.
Spending a little time on the front lawn on Bah-Bah's day.

Happy Bah-Bah's Day!

Thanks to my cousin Janice for sharing her awesome idea for a father's day gift and for helping me get the tray. I love how it came out and it was super fun to make. So many options. Thanks cousin.

Best Dad Ever

Stampin' Up! Best Dad Ever stamp set available in the Summer Mini Catalog. Happy Father's Day!

Happy Friday

Nothing like a little silly play time with the babies before work on a Friday morning.
Love this...Landon thinks he's hiding and we can't see him.
How much longer do you think the railroad track
will keep her from escaping the blue mat?

Follow the yellow balloon...

My day with Landon

I took a couple days off from work to be with my babies...I'm a bit exhausted but it was so worth it. My morning started out as usual and I didn't have to leave...I got my camera to capture the morning.

"Up" is one of Landon's favorite movies to watch...so much so when he sees a balloon, any balloon, he lights up and will do anything for it. So we've been ghetto and haven't made the time to get him a helium balloon but instead will blow up a balloon and attach it to a ribbon. Hey, it does the trick.
Okay, it's a little sad...we'll have to make a trip to the store and get one today. Just watching him tow that pink balloon around the house is silly.
He's also into playing with cars and loves Pat the hammer from Handy Manny. He goes around the house and taps on things. Good stuff.

He'll even take it outside. Notice that the color of balloon is no longer pink...it deflated in the middle of breakfast and he couldn't leave the house without it.

First stop...the park. I had to pry Pat and the balloon out of his hand...I just called out "squirrel" and he was all good. If you've seen "Up" you'll know what I mean.

After the park we went to the Dollar Tree...the moment we stepped inside the store, Landon was in balloon heaven. He was so excited! I knew I was set to take him to the market for a little grocery shopping. Boy, did he sit still in the stroller (which he hates to sit in) and behaved the entire time. Got to love it.

Yes, he towed the balloon into the bathroom, in bed for his nap...had it with everywhere he was in the house. I believe he even went to bed with the balloon tonight. Let's just hope it's still floating in the morning or it will be back to our sad little balloons.
A couple of more pictures after his nap...went right into the kitchen to play with his cars. I have no idea why he stores them in his kitchen drawer(formerly known as my tea drawer) but he does. He'll pull all of them out to push and slide them around on the slick kitchen floor.
Thanks for all the fun today Landon. More fun tomorrow!

Thanks

This Thanks card was given to me by Marian Andrews. It is sweet and simple, my kind of card.

Happy Sunday!

It was beautiful day to go out...we thought we had timed it right. We had the babies take a nap before heading out to dim sum. Olivia did really well but Landon. Not sure what happened...if it was the crowds of people, the loud noise or if he just needed to sleep some more. Needless to say, he was not a happy camper at lunch today.

Looks like Olivia is great ready to start crawling...it's amazing to watch her rock back and fourth, only to find herself on her tummy and not able to get going. We'll keep working on it.

I love it when Olivia is just hanging out and Landon would just come over and join in...so cute!

She's sittin' pretty...
...playing. So cute, daddy put matching hairclips on baby O.
Landon being really silly...or does he think he's hiding from me.

Beyond the Garden Mother's Day Spread

I loved how Olivia's 6 month spread turned out...so I had to create my Mother's Day spread using the same stamp set and paper. Yeah, it's done!
