Olivia @ 3 months

Baby Girl is 3 months old today. She smiles when you talk and play with her. It is so very cute. Her hair is wild...it sticks up like a fan in the back. She sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time in the evenings...which makes it nice. She loves the mobiles..I can see it in her eyes. She wiggles around a lot and I can tell she's going to be just as active as her big brother.

I'm still very lucky to be home with the babies and have a little more time with them before having to go back to work. Enjoying every minute.

Pretty Little Flowers

These cute little tissue flower lolliops are simple, quick and easy to make. Materials: tissue paper, 1/4" circle hole punch, Stampin' Up! 2-3/8"XL-Scallop Circle punch, ribbon and lollipops.

  1. punch tissue paper 10 layers at a time (I found this worked best and it didn't make the punch stick) using the XL-Scallop Circle punch, you'll need 20 for each flower
  2. punch a 1/4" circle in the centers of the scallop tissue
  3. thread the lollipop through the layers of tissue
  4. tie a piece of ribbon to secure the tissue paper onto the lollipop stick
Have fun!

Landon loves his new music box...so much fun to watch him interact with his toy. He dances to the music and just smiles.
The train is still one of his favs. That face says it all.
Baby girl is 12 weeks and has officially outgrown the bassinet. Oh my!

Pincushion Stampin' Up! Style

When I saw this pincushion in the latest Stampin' Up! 2011 Occasions Mini Catalog...I knew I had to make one or two or 10. It was really simple and easy to make. It is soooo cute!

Supplies: Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric, cut into 6" square and 3" square; Subtles Designer Buttons or Sweet Stitches Big Designer Buttons; hot glue gun; small wide-mouth canning jar and ring; cardboard, polyester fiberfill stuffing

Stampin' Up! Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric

 1. Trace the lid of jar on the cardboard; cut out.

 2. Layer the items as shown...fabric, stuffing and cardboard circle. Hot glue the edges to the underside.
 3. Trace a circle(aprrox 2.5") using the 3" square and cut out.
 4. Hot glue the circle to finish the underside of the pincushion.
 4. Place the pincusion inside the canning ring.
5. Fill jar with buttons and place the lid on the jar. =)
Have fun! Buttons shown are the Subtles Designer Buttons.

    Landon @ 18 months

Landon is a year and a half today...seriously, where has the time gone. He has been a very good big brother. He tries to help in any way he can. He'll willingly give her kisses, try to calm her by giving her the pacifier...use her bib to wipe her drool, he'll help with the burping, he always wants to carry her, hold her hand or pull it.

Anyhow, he's beginning to use his words. He doesn't have many but it's a start. "Yes" is the newest word that he has learned to say. He says yes and nods to a lot of things...even things he doesn't know what were asking. I am certain when he doesn't want something. It is very clear with the head shake and hand gestures.

His lastest obsession is Toy Story. Toy Story 3 to be more specific...he can watch that movie over and over and over again. He laughs at certain scenes...the one I've caught him giggling is when Barbie and Ken meet for the first time. Seriously? It's hilarious to watch him. He gets really excited, he'll even dance when a song plays.

He loves his pasta...rice macaroni, yakisoba, and spaghetti. He'll eat it with chicken, peas, green beans and a little sauce. Yesterday, he ate a whole rice bowl of chicken pho. Nice work! He loves yogurt...can eat that at every meal if we let him. His new favorite fruits are blueberries and oranges. Come to think of it..he hasn't turned down any fruit. He loves them all.

Baby girl is sleeping longer hours in the evening...so awesome! The last couple of nights..she went to sleep @ 8pm and didn't wake up til about 3am. Although 3am is not an ideal time for me to get up to feed her, I'll take it! It has allowed me to get a few extra hours of sleep and I'm loving it.

She smiles and coos when you talk to her...she loves the papasan swing(she can fall asleep in that thing and stay asleep for hours)....the sound of the bathroom fan will calm her after I've tried everything else. It's one of the funniest things, but I'll take it.

She has outgrown her 3 months clothing and we've moved onto the 3-6 months. She is long! She's starting to pull her head up wanting to do crunches and sit-up. She loves being held upright and will scope out her surroundings. Pretty neat stuff.

    Disneyland on 1.11.11

We met up with the Mouse within moments after arriving in the park. Lucky Olivia!
Landon loved the carousel. Just loved it so much that he didn't want to get off. It was a good thing that the line was short and was able to go again. The joy and smiles on Landon boys face was just priceless.
Yes, they switched horses...the second time around.
It's a Small World. Daddy said he sat still the first half and not so much afterwards.
Landon: "Please let me run freely...please."
Grandpa came with us...Auntie Andrea had to work today. Grandpa enjoyed the carousel too!
Look who's in the background being all silly...Goofy!
Landon: "Set me free and let me run!!!"
Baby Girl slept most of the time...and will not remember this trip, but I will always have memories and this picture to show her.
Hang time as we wait for the tram back to the parking lot.

    January Demonstrator Hostess Club Projects

Tracey Nelson shared this card with me that she had CASED from another demonstrator...wish I knew her name. This card is just fabulous. It was a Merry Christmas card but I changed the sentiment and it still works.
This love card was lifted directly from the SU! provided...I didn't have the exact ribbon but I did have SU!'s new seam binding ribbon...good stuff.

It was great to get back into stamping again..I'm not going to lie and say it was easy to find time to make this happen. It took a lot of energy and effort without carving time away from my babies. We made the three cards and milk carton in class this last Saturday. After not holding a workshop in three months...I think it turned all right.
