Landon @ 16 months

I got my new haircut yesterday

All smiles as Landon is watching Yo Gabba Gabba
My baby boy is 16 months today. His personality is shining through more and more each day. Although his words are not clear but I'm understanding that he knows how to say his name...it's not quite "Landon" but it comes out as "an-and", he also knows how to greet his "Po-Po" but it comes out more like "Po". It's really cute. He also knows how to say banana ("nana"), yes, mama, daaa, mum-mum(food), and woe(dog).

He loves to go for a walk outside, especially with his Po-Po. He also loves to lay on the lawn...it's really quite funny. He got his third haircut yesterday with Christina and he actually sat quite still, it went better than I thought it would. If he wanted a treat like candy, I would have given it to him. He was that good. So proud. He loves to help Po-Po sweep and vacuum the floor, he pretty much puts things back in place (the grown-up stuff) not so much his toys. His toys are just...all over the place. I believe he comprehends a lot more than we give him credit for. He also helps out with the laundry by taking the laundry out of the wash and putting it the dryer or taking clothes out of the dryer and into the hamper.

Don't get me wrong, he does typical toddler things like going into drawers, closing doors, putting the lid down on the toilet seats, plays with lotion bottles, remotes, loves to talk on the phone, tries to open front doors, climbs onto chairs and boxes, loves to push the buttons on a keyboard and rolls the little ball on a mouse with his index finger, loves to turn the tv on and off, the list goes on and on. He recently discovered my iPad...enough said. All we can do is keep a close eye on him so he doesn't hurt himself. He loves to explore, that's for sure. He continues to scribble with pen and paper, is a good eater and his enjoying more and more table food. He even loves some of the Chinese soup Po-Po makes. When he hears music...he dances not only with his arms and hips...but he picks his feet up and stomps. His drool is finally slowing down and he has a mouth full of teeth that are beginning to bust through his gums. It's getting tough to clean his teeth...as I'm afraid he'll bit down. It's killer.

Landon continues to surprise us everyday and brings us so much joy. I love you Landon Boy!

He has been a great big brother to his little baby sister Olivia. He loves to give her kisses...all the time. No apparent jealousy but it is juggling act when the both of them need the required attention at the same time. We're adjusting and making it work.

There's a whole lot of love in the Lau House.
