It was very warm Saturday afternoon yesterday...

but Landon was ready to learn how to play basketball.

First day of school

Landon's first day as a Kindergarten Student. Olivia's first day in the big kids Pre-K class. 

Just from a year ago...time flies.

Olivia is obsessed with "long socks"

Even on hese hot summer days...Olivia is all about sporting her knee high socks otherwise known as "long socks" to O. She loves them and want to wear a pair everyday!

Landon wanted to join in on the fun...they both decided that it would be funny to wear them like gloves.

Happy 5th Birthday Landon! July 19, 2014

Landon has been counting down the days before his 5th birthday! He asked me every morning if it was his birthday...so then I decided, to post a calendar on the fridge to give him a visual perspective and give him the opportunity to practice counting. Each morning in July Landon and Olivia would take turns drawing a X on the day and then they would count down how many days it was until it was his birthday.

This picture was taken at his school...he requested chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles...his Gu-Je (Auntie Joyce) made it happen...and his birthday cupcakes would not be complete unless we had his flying friends with him. His face glowed when his class starting singing Happy Birthday to him. Love the smile.

Week 2 - Landon @ Basketball Clinic

On Friday night, Landon told us he could not sleep. The boy loves to learn new things and is just oozing with excitement!

Another great week at Basketball Clinic. Thanks to Evergreen and for all the individuals who volunteer to make this happen. Landon loving every moment.

Just moments before this picture was taken Landon was an active little boy...giggling, climbing all over the place, and running around. How managed to capture this quiet moment of reflection is a little amazing.

Landon's First Basketball Clinic

Landon was so excited about learning how to play basketball he woke up at 6am. Just a bit earlier than usual to tell Dad it was time to get up and go play. The clinic was going to start at 9am. He was just a wee bit excited to get going.

Landon asked Daddy for a red shirt...and we were happy to get him one but what he was really asking for was a red jersey with a number on the back. Not yet son...this is a clinic on learning how to play. In time, in time.

 L gets his first basketball and learns to dribble. He is loving it...

 I have to say that he has pretty good form...nice shot by Norm.
