One beautiful day for a baby shower at Sandy's Tropical Paradise at 408 Westminster Ave. Here are my girls...my stampin' family. Left to right: Sandy, Kathy, Grace, Me, Tracey, Kai, Coral, Amy, Karina, Andrea and Ann.
Tracey and Coral are checking out the 6x6 pages everyone made for Baby Boy Lau.
Sandy sharing a cold one with Amy.
My sister, Andrea and Amy...cheers.
Grace double fisting some spiked lemonade. I heard it was good.
Ahhh, the yummy, oh so yummy. Sandy's delicious cupcakes. As you can see...Grace and Kai were not shy about taking one of each kind. Who could resist? I couldn't.
Me and Tracey
Yeah, Karina made it to the party. Thumbs up on the food.
This was my plate...as you can see...there was no cupcake to be seen. Cause I already ate it. I started with a cupcake and ended with a cupcake. Sandy's pumpkin with fresh whipped cream topped with a little cinnamon. Yum! Yum!
I love berries. Thanks Coral.
Andrea brought the fruit salad...so refreshing.
Cupcakes...I love cupcakes. The ones on the left are my fav.
Amy brought Portos and Popeye's, got to love it.
All the yummy food...thanks Ann for bringing the Diane salad.

The Story of Man and his Potato Ball by Regina Chinn
I just had to share...
Hi Marce and Norm,
There once was a fellow named Greg who discovered that he had a love for potato balls after lunching on them in a land far, far away. Greg could not stop thinking about these potato balls and thoughts of the delicious taste filled his head day after day. His lovely wife could not bear to see him suffer so she attempted to recreate his beloved potato ball. After much trial and tribulation, his wife at last made the perfect potato ball. Greg was finally a happy man.
The end.

One Fabulous Day!
Regina and Greg flew into Burbank from Seattle this morning at 10am. No time to waste...first stop Porto's in Glendale for their first taste of their yummy goodness of cheese rolls, cuban sandwich, meat pie, chicken empanada and the oh so delicious potato balls. I believe it was Greg's favorite. After filling our stomachs we headed down to Long Beach where we would do some serious damage at Fabric Barn. That's right, I said it...Fabric Barn. It was like being in a candy store. Regina was going nuts. Here's are a few photos to prove it.

After Fabric Barn, we headed over to Torrance to Marukai for some more shopping...Regina picked up a few things plus a suitcase just for the ribbon. Imagine that. Well, you don't need to, cause here's a picture. This suitcase is filled with just ribbon.

From Marukai in Torrance, we headed back to Alhambra around 4pm when Regina wanted some ice cream. Naturally, we took them to Fosselman's Ice Cream. I was pooped and needed a little nap before heading out to dinner at 7pm.

We met up with some friends for dinner at Daisy Mint...Tracey and Jim, Kathy, Paul and their cute little one. Dinner was delicious, as you can tell...we only had one little to go bag. We ordered a lot and ate a lot. No surprise that we were already planning the next meal.
