Landon had his check-up with Dr Stephanie yesterday and did really well. Health is good...he grew another inch @ 32" and gained 1.5 lbs for a total of 23.5 lbs. He walks really well, explores every corner in the house, opens andcloses drawers and doors. He loves to climb and go down slides, the boy has no fear. His molars are coming in and continues to put anything he can into his mouth to help soothe himself. He loves to brush his teeth, comb his hair, drink water and feed himself bananas, crackers, bread, chicken, fish and grapes. It gets messy but it all makes it into his mouth. Most of it anyways. He loves to go outside and calls for the parrot from across the street. I also need to mention he loves going out...even if its for a car ride to the bank with po-po (grandma).
He continues to babble and has learned to call me mama. Yes! =) Along with his babbling, he drools like a leaking faucet and we're working on words like dada, baba (daddy in Cantonese), yes, jo-sun (good morning in Cantonese), mum-mum (food), nana (banana), please and thank you. He loves to sign for more (usually for more food), up, all done, waves hi and bye and blows kisses. His smiles and grins can bring you joy and get you to do just about anything he wants you too. So darn cute.
He usually takes two naps a day and goes to bed around 9pm and wakes up around 6:30-7am. I've been able to spend the last couple of weeks at home with Landon...time given to me due to being on maternity leave. I feel lucky to have been given this gift before the arrival of baby girl Lau...with just less than 3 weeks to go, I am going to enjoy all the time I have with Landon. This is with lots of help...my parents and sister come over everyday. So lucky to have them around.
