Just wanted to share a couple of cards that I received this weekend and an oh so sweet cupcake.
This clever card was created by Marian Andrews. I love the use of the scallop to create a lion. Loving it.
This very boy card was created by Tiffany Quon...very sweet, I'm thinking I may need to use it as an embellishments on a scrapbook page.
My friend Teresa Wong is so clever with the cupcakes...a little rubber duckie completes the theme.

The Story of Man and his Potato Ball by Regina Chinn
I just had to share...
Hi Marce and Norm,
There once was a fellow named Greg who discovered that he had a love for potato balls after lunching on them in a land far, far away. Greg could not stop thinking about these potato balls and thoughts of the delicious taste filled his head day after day. His lovely wife could not bear to see him suffer so she attempted to recreate his beloved potato ball. After much trial and tribulation, his wife at last made the perfect potato ball. Greg was finally a happy man.
The end.

31 weeks 6 days
I know the ultrasound picture is a little blurry...sorry, I couldn't stop laughing for the doctor to take a picture. All I noticed was the size of the head. It's ginormous! I could not stop laughing. Anyhow, baby Lau is healthy and growing steady and weighs a little shy of 4 pounds. It's been two weeks since my last check up and but when we last measured him on April 8 he was just about 1.1 pounds.

One Fabulous Day!
Regina and Greg flew into Burbank from Seattle this morning at 10am. No time to waste...first stop Porto's in Glendale for their first taste of their yummy goodness of cheese rolls, cuban sandwich, meat pie, chicken empanada and the oh so delicious potato balls. I believe it was Greg's favorite. After filling our stomachs we headed down to Long Beach where we would do some serious damage at Fabric Barn. That's right, I said it...Fabric Barn. It was like being in a candy store. Regina was going nuts. Here's are a few photos to prove it.
After Fabric Barn, we headed over to Torrance to Marukai for some more shopping...Regina picked up a few things plus a suitcase just for the ribbon. Imagine that. Well, you don't need to, cause here's a picture. This suitcase is filled with just ribbon.
From Marukai in Torrance, we headed back to Alhambra around 4pm when Regina wanted some ice cream. Naturally, we took them to Fosselman's Ice Cream. I was pooped and needed a little nap before heading out to dinner at 7pm.
We met up with some friends for dinner at Daisy Mint...Tracey and Jim, Kathy, Paul and their cute little one. Dinner was delicious, as you can tell...we only had one little to go bag. We ordered a lot and ate a lot. No surprise that we were already planning the next meal.

The Weekend
The weekend started on Thursday when we met up with Winnie & Garret (pictured above drawing).
...and Tiff, Ron and Branden (the little guy) for dinner in San Gabriel.
As for the rest of weekend, I scrapped with m two cousins Anita and Janice. Had a great time and will probably be awhile before I get to scrap all weekend as I need to get ready for the arrival. Going on week 31 and the bump is getting big.
Norm's Project
Norman finished his project this week! I am so proud of him for painting the baby room. Here are some sneak peek photos...the room was painted a butter color when we bought the home three years ago. Today, the room is now SU! Close to Cocoa color and it is beautiful. Looking forward to getting the rest of the room ready. Hang the window panels, put the crib together, wash the clothes....oh, you get the idea. Much to do.

Something Old to Something New
Do you you have a bin of cardstock that was cut for a project or workshop? I have a several of these bins filled with 'extras'. Today I decided to dive into one of the little boxes that's been sitting on desk that was stuffed with cardstock that was cut out for specific projects that I no longer remember what they were for. Here are three cards that I created...happy Friday!

Great Friend
Here's a card we made this last Saturday at my May Make & Takes Class. This stamp set is featured in Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalog..."Great Friend", set of 5 and the coordinating patterned paper is Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper. Color Combination: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White.
We had our check-up with the doctor on Monday and everything is looking good. All the tests came back normal including my glucose...so that was great news. We heard the baby's heartbeat and all is well. I'm about 30 weeks and starting to get tired but I'm trying my hardest to find energy to get things ready.

Black Bottle Restaurant Bar in Seattle, WA
The first evening we were in Seattle our hostess with the mostest...Regina and Greg took us to a wonderful restaurant called the Black Bottle. It was asian-fusion cruisine and it was yummy!
Regina and Greg. Sorry Greg...got you while you were chewing.
Norman and I just enjoying all the yummy food Regina ordered. Norm was a good sport....he wasn't feeling 100% but he played it off...just so I wouldn't worry.
I would have to say that this Kimchi Pork Belly was one of my favorite dishes...spicy, tender and oh-sooooo tasty! All I needed was a bowl of rice!
Yolanda diving into her plate of shrimps after watching us eat our way thru the 15 dishes Regina had ordered. Well, it wasn't quite 15, but pretty darn close.
This meal was probably one of my favs of the weekend.

May Demonstrator Hostess Club
Each month I get together with my some of downline for some stamping fun. I formed a monthly club for demonstrators only. We get together once a month, just like a hostess club except the hostess of the month is also the demonstrator of the month. The hostess/demonstrator provides three projects and a light lunch. We welcome guests to join us at any given month but everyone is required to place a minimum order each month for the duration of the club. The makeup of my downline are mainly hobbyist and may do a montly workshop. We use this time to help each other out with the monthly projects and with quarterly minimums. It really as been effective and a win/win situation for all.
Below are the three projects we made this month. My second favorite stamp set (my number 1 fav is Fifth Avenue Floral) is Stampin' Up!'s Central Park. Simple and easy to use. Color combination: Baja Breeze, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip.
This lovely chocolate chip pop-up cake is one of Stampin' Up!'s latest dies. It doesn't require much material and the result is awesome.
I CASED this card from Michelle Halleen's annual Woo Hoo Stampers Demonstrator Event. This card was just my kind of style. Simple, clean and easy to make. Stampin' Up!'s Trendy Tree is a fun set to have. We made this card in less than 5 minutes. Color combination: Old Olive, Ruby Red, Choc Chip and Whisper White.
The card sample was sent to me by Tracey Nelson who saw it on Julie Davison's blog. So thank you Julie. This card is so clever. I love it and everyone that has seen or made it....has fallen in love with it.
